INTRODUCTION
The SkyCube has been designed to assist custodial related organizations, including designers and Governments globally involved in mental health, permanent and temporary confinement scenarios and prisons of any security status and scale.
The SkyCube and it's wider philosophy will change the nature of future secure health or custodial facility design and management.
This is the world's most technologically advanced, rapidly deployable modular cell, which passively protects the patient, the staff and the asset whilst comprehensively enhancing rehabilitation.
Our design approach is balanced, on one hand adopting the Scandinavian mindset is that if someone is in prison, that’s our fault as a society, we let them fall through the cracks, so it’s our responsibility to rehabilitate them, but on the other hand conscious that certain individuals require specifically tailored environments.
The overall design philosophy will also accelerate construction times, save money not just on programme but on the physical built environment and Opex too.

Things need to change in the custodial environment, globally, technology is your friend in this regard
SKYCUBE allows a re-think of the entire nature of what designs to allow for, for various categories of custodial environments.
There will always arguably be a requirement for the worst of the worst to be in a ‘Supermax’, but this design offers most other categories of inmates, to be handled in a comprehensively different manner.
The speed and simplicity of what we are proposing WILL have an extremely large impact on traditional costs of custodial projects globally, without compromising security and in fact enhancing it.
There are 2 opportunities presented to the market by the SkyCube team:
1. The SkyCube as a standalone deployable Greenfields project or a retrofit solution into existing / traditional environments.
2. Utilising the SkyCube concept in a far-reaching overall custodial facilities estate environment design philosophy.
